As a member of Philanthropy Northwest you join a community of engaged, committed philanthropists working together to improve our world. Philanthropy Northwest members connect through our programs and publications. We offer educatioonal programs about the how-to's of grantmaking and emerging issues important to philanthropists.

  • Programs
    Members are invited to participate in our programs at significantly reduced fees. Our programs include our annual conference, regional events, trainings, issue briefings, networking and peer gatherings.
  • Publications
    Members receive regular publications, including monthly e-bulletins, regional e-bulletins, and printed newsletters.
  • The Giving Practice Consulting Services
    The Giving Practice, the consulting arm of Philanthropy Northwest, offers its services to members at a discounted rate. Our consulting services cover a wide range of grantmaker needs including family succession issues, employee giving programs, executive searches, strategic planning and many other challenges.
  • Staff Assistance
    Staff is available to assist you with technical questions, connect you to peers, national networks and other resources. Please send your questions to info@philanthropynw.org or call a staff member.
  • Job Bank
    Members can post job openings for free to Philanthropy Northwest widely used job bank. Non-members pay a fee to post jobs.
  • Northwest Funders Directory
    The directory is a searchable, up-to-date online database of over 150 Northwest foundations. It is accessible to Philanthropy Northwest members as a member benefit. Use it to connect to other grantmakers and to publish information about your giving programs. To access the directory, LOGIN to the website and follow the NW Funders Directory link that appears in the login box.
  • Meeting Space
    Our conference room, seating 10-30, is available for use by our members, free of charge. Contact us at info@philanthropynw.org or 206-443-8430 to check room availability.
  • 2010 Grantmakers Salary and Benefits Survey
    Philanthropy Northwest is proud to partner with the Council on Foundations on its 2010 Grantmakers Salary and Benefits Report. This annual publication is one of the most important and effective tools produced for our field.
